About Us

The Sports Tourism Association (STB) was established in 2012 to develop Turkey's sports tourism sector and promote it internationally. Our association is a strong platform that creates cooperation between sports fans, athletes, tourism businesses and relevant stakeholders to increase Turkey's sports tourism potential. Our aim is to support the economic and social contribution of sports tourism to our country and to make Turkey a sports tourism center worldwide.

STB contributes to the determination of standards in the field of sports tourism, the establishment of licensing processes, brand development activities and the provision of secure trade. In addition, it promotes Turkey's sports tourism potential to a wider audience by organizing national and international sports organizations.

One of the most important goals of our association is to ensure that Turkey becomes one of the most important destinations for sports tourism and to strengthen the sector by working together with all stakeholders in this field. STB organizes a wide range of activities in different sports branches such as football, golf, tennis, winter sports, water sports, cycling and mountaineering and ensures the participation of thousands of local and foreign tourists in sports events every year.

In line with the contributions of sports tourism to the economy, we aim to increase Turkey's ability to organize national and international sports events. We are working on the modernization of sports facilities in Turkey, the creation of new sports infrastructures and the diversification of sports tourism organizations.

While emphasizing the importance of sports tourism, STB adopts an environmentally sensitive, sustainable and healthy sports tourism approach. In this direction, we aim to contribute to the development of sports tourism in both economic and social dimensions by working in cooperation with local and international stakeholders.

As the Sports Tourism Association, we have adopted the mission of making Turkey a global center of attraction for sports tourism, continuing our activities in line with the principles of sustainable tourism and offering innovative solutions in this field.
