President's Message

The 5th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Sports Tourism Association was held at Papillon Zeugma Hotel. In this important event, we evaluated our activities in the field of sports tourism and our future goals, and we were happy to come together with all our stakeholders in the sector. Nida Kiraz, who entered the election with a single list, was unanimously elected as the new president. This is an indication of the unity and solidarity of our Association.

Nida Kiraz, who continues her duty as the Sales and Marketing Director of Papillon Hotels, stated that she is open to projects that aim to expand throughout Turkey as a founding member of the Association. Kiraz emphasized the importance of sports tourism for our country and said, "Sports is not only a competition; it is also a cultural interaction, socialization and a healthy lifestyle. For this reason, we adopt an approach that covers all branches of sports."

Kiraz emphasized that they plan to make significant progress in golf, cycling, tennis, swimming, canoeing and other active sports branches in addition to football in the new period and said, "Our aim is to further popularize sports tourism and increase interest in different branches of sports. Providing opportunities for everyone to meet with sports and improve themselves in this field is among our priorities." Kiraz thanked everyone who contributed to this process and said, "Together, we will create a stronger sports tourism network."

The aim of the Sports Tourism Association is to popularize sports tourism and increase interest in different branches of sports throughout the country. The Association aims to strengthen the role of sports in the tourism sector and maximize Turkey's sports tourism potential. In this direction, we will continue our efforts to make Turkey the center of sports tourism by organizing various events, camp programs and international organizations.

As a result, as the Sports Tourism Association, we aim to spread healthy living habits in our society and increase the unifying effect of sports by benefiting from the power of sports. In the new period, we will all work together with excitement to reveal the potential of sports and sports tourism.
