Sports Tourism Association drew attention to the diversity of sports tourism and the development of new branches in the meeting hosted by Miracle Resort Hotel with a high level of participation. Important evaluations were made regarding pre-season football tourism at the meeting.
Valued members who attended the meeting shared their views on the development and potential of sports tourism in our country. Emphasizing that sports are not limited to football alone, but also offer great opportunities in other branches such as golf, cycling, tennis, swimming and canoeing, the participants focused on the steps to be taken for the diversification of sports tourism and the introduction of new branches.
The status of pre-season football tourism was discussed at the meeting, and the interest of local and foreign teams in Turkey was examined in detail. Members exchanged information about the economic and social contributions of sports tourism and conveyed the needs and expectations of the sector.
The determination of the Sports Tourism Association to act in cooperation with all stakeholders in order to promote sports and healthy living was emphasized. In future meetings, it is aimed to develop more projects and plans for diversifying sports tourism and creating new opportunities.
The Sports Tourism Association believes that the information and experiences gained in this meeting will make significant contributions to the development of sports tourism. It stated that they will continue to work to make Turkey a more visible sports tourism destination in the international arena.
